The Philadelphia Eagles came out on top in London, winning 24-18 over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Eagles completed a masterful offensive performance, and took the W in London.
Blake Bortles suffered his first loss in a London, but played a good game for the Jaguars.
Here’s four takeaways from the game.
Carson Wentz can throw
There was a point early in the game where Carson Wentz led the Eagles in receiving yards.
However a monster throw under pressure in the first really showed that Wentz can throw.
Blake Bortles isn’t done yet
He’s had a rough ride recently. But Bortles had a decent day in London.
No picks, and he had a better pass percentage. The Jags May be content to keep Blake, for now…
Rules need reviewing again
There was a helmet to helmet penalty given out today that was laughable. The rule needs looking at, especially after the tackle on Baker Mayfield last week that went unflagged.
Eagles offence excels
The Eagles offence today was very very good.
Jordan Matthews has a great game. The running game was also on fire.
