Alabama vs. Florida State: First Half Gallery
At halftime of the grand opening of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, #1 Alabama leads #3 Florida State 10-7. It has been a cagey first half, with very solid defense, some timely offense, and some disappointing special teams.
Both teams missed field goals that could prove to be costly, and Florida State also failed to convert a 4th and 2 on their opening possession. The Seminoles got their touchdown on a three-yard pass from Deondre Francois, and then Alabama responded with a 53-yard touchdown bomb from Jalen Hurts to standout receiver Calvin Ridley.
Florida State will get the ball to start the second second half.
Here are some of the best photos from a mouth watering first half.
