Sam Bradford started the season on fire for the Vikings but they’ve gone off track after he started suffering from knee complaints.
The former number one overall pick has a history of knee injuries and the Vikings have taken no risks with his health.
In his absence, Case Keenum has stepped in for the short-term but the Vikings have gone 1-2 over the last three weeks and sit at .500, two games back of the Packers in the NFC North.

The loss of Dalvin Cook to a season-ending knee injury will hurt the Vikings, but the added boost that Bradford should offer the passing attack should be enough to make up for the look of the rookie running-back.
Receivers Stefon Diggs and Adam Theilen are one of the best tandems in the league and Bradford should be able to find them early and often given the Bears’ shoddy pass defence.
The Vikings need this game to stay within touching distance of the Packers and Detroit Lions in the NFC North divisional race and Bradford’s return will go a long way towards them doing so.
